As Eagle Hill traveled to take on a very difficult Camillus team. Eagle Hill was shut out the first three innings, but they finally got on the board in the fourth inning. Meanwhile, Camillus jumped out to a quick 4-0 lead by the third inning. Later in the game, Camillius went to there bullpen, changing pitchers. They used two pitchers to finish the game. In the last inning, Sam Hughes gets hit in the lower part of the leg in a attempt to get out of the way. As he got to first base, the game continued. The first pitch to Seth Bailey, the next batter, was in the dirt. Hughes hesitated to go, retreated one and a half steps back to first base, but changed directions and made a very difficult attempt to steal second on the slightly wild pitch. But the throw from the catcher was right on the money, gunning Hughes out at second, to end the blowout game. Camillus held on and took the 11-4 victory to the slightly struggling Eagle Hill Hornets. But the Eagle Hill Hornets will battle the Baldwinsville Bees at the FM High School Varsity Field on Tuesday.
